URGENT: Office365 Email service interruptions

University email is in the process of migrating to a new authentication model. This migration is taking longer than expected so for many staff email is currently offline.

What is happening?

University Office365 services such as Email, SharePoint, and Skype for Business are currently migrating to a new cloud based authentication solution. This migration started at 6pm last night. The migration is taking longer than expected.

What you should do?

The migration of email is on-going and about 50% complete. We anticipate that all mailboxes and sharepoint sites should be available by late this evening though it is difficult to provide an exact timeline for completion.
