For further details please contact the International Office at Wuhan University: exchange@whu.edu.cn or check here
In May 2012, academic staff members from our Business School will also be visiting the campus of Wuhan University, to give subject-specific talks and further details on the dual degree scheme between our universities.
The partnership between our universities has gone from strength to strength over the years.
For example, last year (2011), 17 students from Wuhan graduated in 2011 from the University of Aberdeen. 4 students out of the 17 (24%) graduated with the best possible degree, i.e. a first class Honours degree. Two of these students graduated with a MA Economics and two with a MA Economics-Finance. Normally less than 10% of students obtain a first class degree so the performance of the Wuhan students was excellent last year. 10 students obtained an upper second class degree (59%) and 3 obtained a lower second class degree (18%).
Following their dual degree, most of these graduates are now undertaking further postgraduate study in very good UK universities including the London School of Economics (LSE), University College London (UCL), Warwick University, HES Paris, Birmingham University and Durham University.
