Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Study
For entry to undergraduate study, the University will consider ONE of the following academic qualifications along with a completed high school diploma.

  • A combined SAT score of 1800 or above
  • Two SAT subject tests with a score of 600 or above
  • Two AP tests with a score of 4 or above
  • A combined ACT score of 27 or above
  • A minimum of 30 points in IB, including an average of 5 at HL

Students can have their test scores sent direct to the University of Aberdeen. The University of Aberdeen's institutional code for SAT and AP is 0818 and for ACT is 5364.

Science and Engineering
The entry requirements for Science and Engineering are the same as above, however, you should also ensure that you are either doing at least two science-based college level courses in your senior year, or that your subject specific qualifications (for instance AP tests) are in science-based subjects. For IB, a minimum of 30 points is required, with a minimum of 5 points at Higher Level from two science, technology or maths subjects.

Transfer Students
