Aberdeen Campus
The University of Aberdeen is home to students from over 120 countries worldwide. Of the approximate 16,000 current students at Aberdeen around 19 percent are from countries outside of the United Kingdom. There are over 30 students from Latin and South America on our campus including students from Mexico, Brazil, Columbia and Venezuela, to name a few.
Aberdeen city has a thriving international community and proudly hosts the Latin and American Film Festival every spring. The Film Festival, a collaborative venture between the Belmont Picturehouse and the University of Aberdeen, supported by Aberdeen City and Shire, celebrates the interest in the cultures of Spain and Latin America in the North East of Scotland.
