There are some scholarships and grants for international students who wish to study in the UK. Whilst these are highly competitive and only available to a limited number of candidates it is still worthwhile applying for any which are relevant to you. Scotland's Saltire Scholarships 2012

Scotland's Saltire Scholarships (SSS) is an exciting scholarship opportunity open to Indian nationals. The scholarships are offered on a matched funding basis between the Government and Scottish Higher Education institutions. The scheme offers up to 200 awards, each worth £2000, which is available towards the cost of tuition fees for any one year of study on an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions, for entry in September 2012. The deadline for applications for the 2012/13 scholarships is 01 June 2012.

College of Arts and Social Sciences: India Merit Scholarships

The University of Aberdeen is delighted to offer our Indian applicants, who meet the criteria, merit scholarships, of the value of £1000. Applicants will be considered on the basis of the following criteria:

  • First class degree
  • 3 years relevant work experience
