University Partners

Wuhan University

The “2+2” undergraduate Honours Degree Programme between Wuhan University and the University of Aberdeen Business School allows selected students to spend their first 2 years at Wuhan University completing an agreed course of study in Management Studies, Finance and Economics, followed by years 3 and 4 at the University of Aberdeen. An option also exisits for students to study Accountancy for 2 years at Wuhan University, followed by 3 further years at Aberdeen. 

South China Normal University

The “2+2” undergraduate Honours Degree Programme between South China Normal University and the University of Aberdeen Business School  allows selected students to spend their first 2 years at SCNU completing an agreed course of study in Management Studies and Finance, followed by years 3 and 4 at the University of Aberdeen. An option also exisits for students to study Accountancy and Economics for 2 years at SCNU, followed by 3 further years at Aberdeen.

Shandong Jianzhu University

The "1+1" Masters Degree between Shandong Jianzhu University and the University of Aberdeen allows students from Shandong Jianzhu University study for the MLitt in English Linguistics for Advanced Teachers of English at Aberdeen, before returning to China to complete the MA in English Linguistics at Shandong Jianzhu University.

Yinghao College, Guangzhou

The University of Aberdeen and Yinghao College signed an agreement in 2009 to provide up to 6 scholarships per year for Yinghao College students who were interested in studying at the University of Aberdeen. The scholarships provide the chosen Yinghao College students with 20% discount on their tuition fees for each year of study at Aberdeen.

Pre-University Foundation Partners

Pontes School, Beijing

Pontes runs a 1-year international foundation program designed to help Chinese students successfully fulfill their academic aspirations at the University of Aberdeen. The Pontes program extends far beyond simple language issues: students at Pontes explore a significant range of subjects and topics aimed at giving them a global perspective and intercultural understanding that will allow them to excel in all aspects of their academic experiences. Pontes is also the only foundation program in China currently offering the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award for Young People. Up to ten students per year may apply for a scholarship at the University of Aberdeen which is equivalent to a 10% tuition fee discount for each year of Undergraduate study at Aberdeen. For more information please email Pontes School.
