6th Century Chairs
The University of Aberdeen has special funding for the recruitment of high
quality research Professors. Candidates with a strong track record who
have already achieved international distinction, who would be interested
in moving to the IMS, should contact the IMS Director in the first instance.
Research Fellowships
The IMS Director is always keen to hear from scientists and clinicians who would like to develop their career in Aberdeen. We offer advice and assistance in formulating applications for funding. In addition, a number of fellowship opportunities arise each year and we are always keen to have early contact with potential candidates.
Research Visitors
The IMS has a number of specialised facilities and excellent research groups. Visitors are welcome to make extended research visits and should contact the relevant laboratory or facility manager in the first instance.
