Do you work in the Polwarth or IMS? Congratulations; you are a member of PIMS!!! This means that every activity organized by PIMS is organized for YOU! And we hope to welcome you to all our events!
Of course our society, as any organization, can’t work without a starting budget and you can help us by becoming our sponsor. We are offering sponsor cards with different loyalty levels depending on your choice of support!

£5 » bronze (15 % discount on all our activities)
£10 » silver (20 % discount on all our activities)
£15 or more » gold (25 % discount on all our activities)
These loyalty cards will not expire, however you can increase your loyalty level by renewing your support to our society every year.
For example if you pay £5 this year, you are at the bronze level. If you choose to renew that gift and give another £5 next year, then this will bring you up to the silver level.
Everyone who previously (before 2006) paid for their membership will automatically receive the sponsor card closest to their gift given at that time.
You will be able to become a sponsor at any of our events.
Any support from the schools, themes, departments, companies, groups, labs etc will also be very much appreciated. So if you feel like sponsoring the PIMS society a little extra or want to support a particular event (like a seminar or so), please do so! You can contact us at pimssociety@yahoo.co.uk.

We are a society based at Foresterhill, created for the people working in the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and Polwarth buildings of the Schools of Medical Sciences and Medicine. Approximately 400 people are based in these buildings, primarily scientists and researchers, making us a large society. In order to organize a successful event that everyone will enjoy funds are needed. As we are a non-profit society, simply providing a means for bringing people together within these two buildings it is essential that we look for outside sponsorship for the events we are organising.
So why should you sponsor us?
We will place your logo on any event you have helped organise, so that people become aware of your support and kindness to sponsor our society. Moreover, your logo will be present on our website where all current and upcoming events are advertised, which would also allow us to provide a link to your own website.
The more sponsorship we can get, the better the chances that our plans can be fulfilled successfully!
