Providing specialist advice, a processing and sectioning service and/or access, training and assisted use of the histology and EM equipment:

Histology:

Tissue processors, standard and motorized microtomes for wax and resin sectioning
Cryostat for frozen sectioning
Leica Bondmax automated immunostainer

Electron Microscopy:

High pressure freezing and Automated Freeze Substitution
Ultramicrotomes, cryoultramicrotome
Philips CM10 TEM and Zeiss EVO MA10 SEM + Inca microanalysis system, all with digital imaging
