Integrative Physiology

Integrative physiology is the study of animal physiology at an integrated number of levels from the gene to the whole organism. At Aberdeen we are using cutting edge genomic techniques to study physiological function in various species.

Integrative Physiology Post-Graduate Conference

The third Integrative Physiology Post-Graduate students conference will be held on the 22nd and 23rd May 2008. The format will be the same as for the first two meetings. Delegates will arrive on the evening of Wednesday the 21st. The meeting will start on the 22nd and continue until late afternoon on the 23rd. Talks will last about 12-15 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions. There will be a couple of plenary style talks as well and an informal evening meal on the night of the 22nd. Slots are available for 30 presentations. The best 3 talks will be awarded prizes and certificates. The first prize will be £250 cash. Second and third prizes will be £125 cash.

Invited participants will have ALL their travel and accommodation expenses, plus all their meals paid for. We will be inviting participants to take part in the meeting between September and November 2007. At present the meeting is only open to PhD students registered in the UK.
