Development and Wellbeing Assessment Research

Dates:

01/04/2014 to 31/08/2014

Overview:

The Development and Wellbeing Assessment (DAWBA) is a computerised method for gathering information from families, teachers and young people over 10 years of age. DAWBA mainly covers common emotional, behavioural and hyperactivity problems, but can also cover less common conditions.

This assessment contains a mix of questionnaire and interviews which will be conducted by a NHS Highland research nurse over the telephone.

We will gather information from relevant families, teachers and young people themselves, by piloting the use of the DAWBA in NHS Highland, thus determining how best to support its use as an early assessment tool.
