Biography

Graham holds a BSc Honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh, and an MSc in Health Services and Public Health Research and a PhD in Health Economics from the University of Aberdeen. His MSc dissertation was a systematic review of studies assessing the costs and consequences of interventions to reduce mother-to-child HIV transmission. On completion of his MSc in 2001, Graham worked at the Dugald Baird Centre for Research in Women's Health, University of Aberdeen, where he undertook research into economic aspects of maternal health care provision in developing countries. He joined HERU in March 2004 as a research fellow, where he also undertook a PhD on methods for valuing outcomes in economic evaluation in the field of reproductive health care.  He leads the Assessment of Technologies theme within the PEAT programme, and has particular interests in the use of patient level data to inform decision models and in the valuation of outcomes within economic evaluation.
