Biography
Tracey joined HSRU in 2011 as a trial manager. She graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a MA (Hons.) in Psychology in 2006, and obtained her MSc in Public Health and Health Services Research in 2011. Prior to joining the Unit, Tracey worked for the University of Aberdeen in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology department as a Research Assistant.
Tracey works as a trial manager across three different trials. CLASS (a multicentre trial comparing two minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins with conventional surgery), NIAMI (a Phase II trial of sodium nitrite administration in patients with myocardial infarction) and SUSPEND ( a mutlicentre placebo controlled randomised trial of calcium channel blockers (nifedipine) and alpha blockers (tamsulosin) in the management of symptomatic ureteric stones in hospitalised adults).
