Biography

Marion Malcolm joined the Unit in October 2002 as Unit Administrator.  She is a history graduate from the University of Aberdeen and also has an MBA from the University of Abertay Dundee. Previously she worked as Centre Administrator at the Arkleton Centre for Rural Development Research at the University of Aberdeen. Prior to that she was a postgraduate administrator at Dundee Business School, University of Abertay Dundee.  Her areas of responsibility include finance (including grant funding applications and administration), human resources, operations management and general administration. She is a member of various management groups within the Unit eg Executive Group, Strategy Group etc.  She also contributes to the University staff promotions process (sitting on promotion committees) and provides mentoring to other staff within the College of Life Sciences & Medicine.
