Biography
Jackie Ellington joined the Unit in August 2001 as Trial Supplies Technician for the RECORD trial (Randomised trial of vitamin D and calcium for the secondary prevention of osteoperosis related fractures in the elderly). She had previously been a primary school teacher for thirteen years. In April 2004 she took up the post of Secretary/Data Manager for the Knee Arthroplasty Trial (KAT) and is responsible for inputting, retrieving and maintaining data, along with other secretarial duties relating to the trial. Recently Jackie has also become Secretary/Data Manager for the new SUSPEND and eTHoS trials.
