Biography

Janice Cruden joined the Unit in 2001 as a data co-ordinator and has worked on several trials including MAVIS, PRISM and MAPS. Currently she is involved in two trials: the REFLUX trial which aims to find out whether medication or surgery is the best form of treatment for gastro-oesophageal disease; and the CLASS trial which is comparing laser, surgical and foam sclerotherapy treatments for varicose veins. In addition, she assists the Unit's Quality Assurance manager by providing administrative support.
