Biography
Anne Duncan joined HSRU in August 2010 as trial manager for the CATHETER and SUSPEND trials. She is a zoology graduate from the University of Aberdeen and subsequently obtained a PhD in physiology from the Royal Veterinary College, London. Prior to joining the HSRU she worked as a post-doctoral researcher on a range of projects with an emphasis on research into infertility.

Current Research
Currently Anne is involved in IQuaD; a randomised controlled trial comparing oral hygiene advice and periodontal instrumentation for the prevention and management of periodontal disease in dentate adults attending dental primary care and Scarless; a single centre randomised controlled trial comparing the effectiveness of Single Port/Incision Laparoscopy Surgery (SPILS) with standard laparoscopic appendectomy.
