History Society
The History Society:
The History Society is back and stronger than ever from 2010-2011! The founding committee 2010-11 is Richard Parker (president), Jade Stewart (treasurer) and last but not least Rebecca McGuckin (secretary).
Events
Our first event on was on 14th October 2011; we thought that a good old gig could set us off nicely. We organized four bands and a DJ, to play at the Tunnels, and not to brag but it was a fantastic night. Those who played were Chris & Dimos, Sean & Bryn, CCJ, Organic Machine and DJ Bageera. The atmosphere was amazing, Everyone had a chance to get to know each other a little better and get to understand the true dynamic of what the history society is about. I don't want to speak for the overall majority, but…. The people that I have spoke to who attended really enjoyed themselves, and ideally that is out main goal! Just for people to have a swell time and enjoy their time at uni!
