Research Interests
Oral history theory and practice particularly in Scotland and New Zealand. Hugo Manson's work in oral history at the University of Aberdeen focussed on Lives in the Oil Industry, one of the most significant projects of its kind to have been carried out. With Terry Brotherstone, Project Director, he has produced conference papers and articles related to the oil industry and to the project which is archived at Aberdeen.
