Each record within the database contains the following elements but only the Title, Description, Keywords and Strengths fields are included in the search:

Title
The name of the collection
Description
A free text summary of the collection. General description so it can be easily understood by end-user with no specialist knowledge
Keywords
Keywords or subject descriptors associated with items in the collection.
Strengths
A free or structured statement of the strength(s) of the collection
Language(s)
Language(s) of the items in the collection
Identifier
Identifier for the collection (e.g. class mark SB, pi, etc.)
Physical Characteristics
Free text statement of the physical characteristics of the collection (e.g. pamphlets, books, manuscripts, etc.)
Accumulation date range
The range of dates which the collection was accumulated
Contents date range
The range of the creation dates of the individual items within the collection
Associated publication(s)
Names of publications that have used, studies or analysed a particular collection (finding aids, etc.)
Accrual status
A free text statement of accrual policy, accrual method and accrual periodicity of the collection, i.e. closed, active, partial/selective
Custodial history/provenance
A free text statement of any changes in ownership and custody of the collection for its authenticity, integrity and interpretation.
Access control
A free text statement on any access restrictions that are placed on the collection, i.e. open access, closed access, borrowable, etc
