Pathology and Forensic Medicine Collection

Loans

Loans of material are made, generally to other museum for exhibitions and to educational institutions to enhance teaching and learning.

Our skull (pictured) was one of our more unusual loans. It appeared in the 1991 Hollywood version of Hamlet starring Mel Gibson. The film was shot at Dunnottar Castle, near Stonehaven.
