Biography

Lynda holds a BA in Economics and an MSc in Transport Engineering and Operations, both from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne. She worked as a transport economics research officer at the University of Oxford before joining the Centre for Health Economics at the University of York as a research assistant. She worked at HERU between 1987-1989 and 1991-1992, before re-joining in 1996. Her current interests include the evaluation of interventions to improve wellbeing especially diet and  physical activity post partum and alcohol purchases in relation to price.
