Biography
Deokhee holds BSc degree in Pharmacy and Master of Public Health (Economics major) from the Seoul National University. She completed the PhD in Health Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005. Her PhD dissertation was to investigate "Effects of Health on Labour Market Outcomes in Transition China." Her research interests include labour market and health, health and inequality, the economics of aging and global health. Joining HERU in November 2005, Deokhee is working on projects within the Behaviour, Performance and Organisation of Care and Valuation & Implementation Programmes.
