Biography

Diane is currently Theme Leader for ‘Workforce’ in the Behaviour, Health and Health Systems Programme.She graduated with an MA (Hons) in Political Economy from the University of Glasgow and then joined the Scottish Doctoral Programme in Economics and gained an MSc in Economics. She continued on the Scottish Doctoral Programme and graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a PhD entitled "Econometric Bias and the Estimation of Male-Female Wage Differentials".  Her current work focuses on health care personnel and how financial and non-financial incentives influence the behaviour of the health care workforce.
