The Pathways to a Healthy Life Theme are pleased to invite applications for two matched 3.5 yr PhD studentship grants for the Pathways to a Healthy Life research theme.
We are pleased to invite applications for two matched 3.5 yr PhD studentship grants for the Pathways to a Healthy Life research theme. Allocation of the matched funding will be, upon approval of the application by the Theme Management Board (for composition please see our website), on a first come, first serve basis.
To apply for the matched funding, please send information on the following three sections in an e-mail to Baukje de Roos (b.deroos@abdn.ac.uk):
- Project proposal. Please provide a short description of the proposed project and its deliverables, and highlight the relevance to Theme’s remit.
- Team. Please provide information on the cross-disciplinary (supervisory) team that will be involved in running the project.
- Match-funding: Please indicate the amount and source of the matched funding that will be available for the studentship. We are looking for an external contribution of at least £35K to cover the costs for student stipend and fees. However, you may wish to bring in additional funding to cover costs for consumables, travel etc.
The expectation is that successful proposals will start in 2013.
