Each year alumni and friends of the University donate £20,000 to support undergraduate students going on research trips and or taking part in medical electives. This funding is available to help students with the costs of travel, living and equipment expenses during their trip or elective.
Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply you must be:
- Studying an undergraduate course
- In your final years of study
- Embarking on research trip or medical elective to support your studies
The application cycle for the 2013-2014 academic year is now open and the deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday, 1st March, 2013.
How to apply?
To apply, simply complete the application form using the guidelines and return your application along with the necessary supporting documentation to the University of Aberdeen Development Trust.

The outcome of your application?
After the closing date all applications will be considered and the final decision shall be made by the Business Committee. The outcome of your application shall be sent to you by email at the end of April 2013, and funds will be made available by mid-May 2013.
