George T. Patton Jr. is a lawyer in the Washington, D.C. office of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. He studied at the University of Aberdeen in 1982-83, earned his A.B. cum laude from Wabash College in 1984, and his J.D. cum laudefrom Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington in 1987. He then clerked for Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard before joining the firm in 1989.
He authored 24 Indiana Practice – Appellate Procedure (3rd Ed., West Publishing Co., 2001 & 2006 Supp.). His law review articles and appellate briefs have been cited by the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Indiana Supreme Court, and the Indiana Court of Appeals. His work has resulted in more than 100 published opinions.
