Launched in 1996 to mark our sixth century of existence, our recent Sixth Century Campaign was hugely successful, surpassing our ambitious £150 million target.
Almost 8000 graduates, charities, organisations, friends and supporters made gifts to the Campaign and enabled us to surpass our target, allowing the University to invest in a wide variety of projects including areas such as capital builds, scholarships, history and heritage, student experience, research excellence and academic posts.
Looking to the future, we are committed to building on the success of this Campaign and to advance the University’s position amongst the leading institutions in the world.
