The Talisman Postgraduate Scholarship

Talisman Energy (UK) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Talisman Energy Inc; a large, independent, oil and gas company, headquartered in Calgary, Canada. In the UK, Talisman is the fourth largest producer of oil and the second largest operator by number of oil fields.
Talisman Energy (UK) Limited is offering one Talisman MSc Scholarship.
The scholarship is open to UK/EU students wishing to commence one of the following full time MSc degree programmes in September 2013:-
MSc Safety & Reliability Engineering for Oil & Gas
MSc Oil & Gas Engineering
MSc Renewable Energy
MSc Subsea Engineering
MSc Oil & Gas Enterprise Management
MSc Integrated Petroleum Geoscience
The scholarship is valued at £15,000 for the one year duration of the MSc degree course. This will cover UK/EU postgraduate tuition fees, and will provide a maintenance stipend.

To be considered for the Talisman MSc Scholarship you will need to have applied to the University of Aberdeen for a place on one of the eligible MSc degree programmes starting in September 2013. To be awarded the Talisman MSc Scholarship you must receive and then firmly accept an unconditional offer of a place on one of the eligible MSc degree programmes at the University of Aberdeen.
Those who are awaiting degree results and therefore hold a conditional offer of a place can also be considered and will be asked to provide a copy of their degree certificate before the award is confirmed.
Only applicants domiciled in the UK and classified as paying Home Fees OR applicants normally domiciled in the UK but temporarily living outside the UK and classified as paying Home Fees OR citizens of the European Union domiciled in the European Union are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement and demonstration of personal characteristics (see Guidelines document below for further details).
