Brief Description
Fugro Subsea Services Ltd., an ROV company based in Aberdeen and specializing in subsea vehicles, is offering one Fugro Subsea Services Ltd. Subsea Engineering Scholarship.
The scholarship is open to UK/EU students wishing to commence the full-time MSc in Subsea Engineering in September 2013.
Description
The scholarship will provide a maintenance stipend of £6,000 in total. This will be paid in two separate installments of £3,000 to be paid at the start of semester one and at the start of semester two, following successful completion of semester one.
In addition, the Fugro Subsea Services Ltd. Subsea Engineering Scholarship will offer:
- Mentoring
- Provision of an industrially-focused project for MSc project
Eligibility
To be considered for the Fugro Subsea Services Ltd. Subsea Engineering Scholarship you will need to have applied to the University of Aberdeen for a place on the MSc in Subsea Engineering degree course starting in September 2013. To be awarded the Fugro Subsea Services Ltd. Subsea Engineering Scholarship you must receive and then firmly accept an unconditional offer of a place on the MSc in Subsea Engineering at the University of Aberdeen.
Those who are awaiting degree results and therefore hold a conditional offer of a place can also be considered and will be asked to provide a copy of their degree certificate before the award is confirmed.
Only applicants domiciled in the UK and classified as paying Home Fees OR applicants normally domiciled in the UK but temporarily living outside the UK and classified as paying Home Fees OR citizens of the European Union domiciled in the European Union are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Criteria
The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and proven ability to work in a team.
