Film Honours students at 3rd and 4th year undergraduate levels, as well as postgraduates pursuing the M Litt in Visual Culture and the PhD, have an opportunity to undertake practice-based work in digital media. Recent examples that demonstrate the diversity of course-related practical work include the following films.  Three of the films recently received awards: the Guy Hamilton Prize for Showtime, the Lumiere Prize for ABZ and the Film09 Prize for Life is Life.
