With the introduction of practice-based courses at Honours levels 3 and 4, taught M Litt courses, and doctoral research, a Media Lab has been created which features seven Apple edit suites running Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express and other software packages. The Lab also has a range of HD video cameras and production equipment for use on courses, and use of the Music Department's studios. Examples of student work completed in the Media Lab can be found on the Videos page. The facility is housed in the new MacRobert building, where students can dine or relax in the expansive foyer cafe area.
