Fairtrade café – Chaplaincy
The AUSA Student Society Shared Planet run many events throughout the year with the student volunteer-run Fairtrade Cafe serving organic and fairtrade food and drinks at the Chaplaincy, 25 High Street at 12-2pm every Wednesday. Come along to the stall or the Café to check out the society's VegBag Scheme where members can get high-quality, healthy organic fruit and vegetables, much of it from local farms for £5 a week! It is run on a not-for-profit volunteer basis so it's also very good value for money. Volunteers warmly received also from 10am at the Chaplaincy to help with both the Café and the VegBag Scheme.
