Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Christmas Shoebox Appeal
-

This is a past event

The Sustainable Futures team at the Student's Association welcome festive donations on behalf of Aberdeen Cyrenians.

If you would like to participate, simply fill up a shoebox with small gifts and presents that would suit female or male service users aged over 16, and drop your box off at the Sustainable Futures Office in the Butchart centre. Ideal items include hats, scarves, gloves, socks, underwear, toiletries, sewing kit, first aid kit, perfume/sprays, chocolates, lip balm, hand wipes, hand warmers, tissues, diaries, or small presents. You can cover your shoebox in festive wrapping but please leave boxes unsealed so that they can be checked before being given to service users.

Although Aberdeen Cyrenians do not collect shoeboxes for children, donations of toys are welcome as they can be passed on to service users with children. Smaller donations of waterproof bivvy bags, hand warmers, mini first aid kits and torches (preferably wind-up) are also welcome. The last day that the Sustainable Futures team will be able to accept donations is Tuesday 16th December.
