Join us for a free fun-filled evening of activities all about the stars.
Wrap up warm and view the night’s sky through telescopes in the beautiful Cruickshank Botanic Garden with the Aberdeen Astronomical Society. Don’t worry if it’s not clear - TechFest’s mobile planetarium will let you see what is behind the clouds! The evening will be rounded off by a talk "Astronavigation - finding your way by Sun, Moon and Stars" by Dr John Reid.
The Zoology Museum will be open all evening and activities will include
- see historical telescopes
- handle real meteorites
- view the night sky with the Astronomy Society.
- see behind the clouds in the Techfest planetarium
