A discussion on new sign language being developed for scientific subjects.

Join Dr. Audrey Cameron from Scottish Sensory Centre at the University of Edinburgh and Gary Quinn, Assistant Professor at Heriot Watt University, for this discussion of the development of new British Sign Language signs scientific disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Astronomy and Maths. The project developed from the realisation that British Sign Language can convey the contemporary meaning of specific scientific terms visually. Interpreter & hearing loop available.
