A seminar exploring the idea of priestly leadership
Recent discussions of ministry in the church have often pitted managerial leadership language over talk of priestly or ministerial formation and development in virtue. Are these two incompatible? Might the theology of priesthood help us develop a proper vision of ‘priestly leadership’ which is appropriate not just in the church but in wider society? Might the church’s idea of priesthood have something to say to the leadership industry in wider society? This seminar will explore these themes and their significance for ministry today.
