A Religious Scientist: Mad, Bad or Just Confused
-

This is a past event

Rev Dr Gillian Straine will be giving a talk and then fielding questions on the topic of science and religion

In her book Introducing Science & Religion: A path through polemic, Straine maintains that, instead of science and religion being incompatible and contradictory, they are mutually beneficial and indeed instrumental to the other's health.

Gillian received her doctorate in Physics here at Aberdeen University. She is also an ordained vicar in the Church of England.

There will be refreshments served.

Gillian is also preaching at King's College Chapel at 5.15pm, to which all are welcome.
