Chinese New Year Celebrations

Join us to celebrate Chinese New Year here at the University of Aberdeen on Thursday, 19th February 2015.

9am – 4pm Calligraphy demonstrations in Hub reception area

11am – 12.30pm Paper-cutting and Chinese games at International Centre

12.30pm Lion Dance on plaza outside the Sir Duncan Rice Library

1.30pm - 3.30pm Paper-cutting and Chinese games at International Centre 

 

We will have activities running all day from the new International Centre in the Hub. There will be traditional Chinese decorations and from 9am we will have Chinese calligraphy demonstrations at the Hub reception.

At lunch time there will be traditional Chinese food available, along with Chinese music and games.

There will be a lion dance performance at 12.30pm on the plaza outside the Sir Duncan Rice library.
