Professor Mark Vickers (Chair in Applied Medicine) and Dr Henry Watson (Consultant Haemotologist) It's 100 years since the first blood transfusion. With over two million blood donations in the UK last year alone, we'll discuss what happens to donated blood and the pros and cons of transfusion.
