The Students' Association Annual Inter-Faith Service

The Students' Association Annual Inter-Faith Service
-

This is a past event

The Service will be accompanied by the Chapel Choir and there will be a presentation from renowned author Terry Biddington.

The Students' Association Kirking event changes each year to reflect the changing diverse international student body. This year the theme is Sacred Earth, Sacred Space. Students from various faith and cultural societies within the Students' Association and Chaplaincy will present on this theme, and then Rev Dr Terry Biddington will offer an exhibition on multi-faith spaces entitled Why do we need multi-faith spaces in higher education?

Both the Students' Association and the Chaplaincy offer a warm welcome to people of all races, beliefs and circumstance. This event allows us to celebrate the rich diversity on our campus and create a space where students and staff from different backgrounds can come together and learn from one another. The University community is blessed to have a beautiful Chapel, but what about our non-Christian faith communities?

This event explores the need for a sacred space which can be used by all. We would be delighted if you would join us.
