Biodiversity Bonanza

Biodiversity Bonanza
-

This is a past event

Biodiversity really is all around us, and during this week the Natural History Centre will be inviting families to come along and learn how to make their outdoor spaces more wildlife friendly.

We’ll be looking at practical ways of providing refuges for beasties of all shapes and sizes, planting flowers that are good for butterflies and bees, surveying bumblebees and persuading people to take an active role in observing, monitoring and recording sightings of wildlife.

There’ll be trails exploring the many habitats of the Cruickshank Botanic Garden and some iconic Scottish species in the Zoology Museum.

Drop-in; all welcome!
