The exhibition displays treasures from the University’s rare book, archive and museum collections to explore and challenge traditional assumptions about the Jacobites.
Many visitors to Rebels with a Cause have been keen to offer their thoughts and feedback regarding the issues raised through the exhibition. Public opinion has been gathered throughout the course of the exhibition via our ‘Comment Compass’ in the gallery. This lively and engaging open discussion will reflect on these comments, pointing to some of the strongest themes, and analysing the divergent views
