An inspirational evening that might make you think differently about your health and lifestyle.

How would you fare running 2,659 miles in 77 days? That’s exactly what GP Andrew Murray did last year, helping to raise money for charity along the way. As an expedition doctor Andrew has travelled to the Himalayas and the North Pole and has worked with some of the world’s top athletes. Now with the arrival of Olympics Year he’s working as the Scottish Government’s Physical Activity Champion, helping to promote the role of physical activity on a healthy lifestyle. So come along and hear Andrew’s inspiring stories from his Sahara run as well as previous adventures in the Gobi jungle and the Arctic Circle.

This event is part of National Science and Engineering Week 2012 with the theme of 'Our World in Motion'.

Admission is FREE although we strongly recommend you book your place(s) by calling Aberdeen Sports Village on 01224 438900 or booking in person at Aberdeen Sports Village reception desk.
