Join the Friends of the Cruickshank Botanic Garden as they invite Timothy Walker to give the Noel Pritchard Memorial Lecture

Timothy Walker four times Gold Medal Winner at Chelsea Flower Show and star of BBC Four’s ‘Botany: A Blooming History’ will give a lecture From Diaz to Diamonds describing his journey from the southernmost tip of Africa to the border with Namibia. Timothy will describe the plants and the ethnobotany of one of the most botanically diverse areas of the World- the western Cape region of South Africa.

Timothy Walker is Director of the University of Oxford Botanic Garden where he joined the staff 1980 as a trainee gardener.
