Rebels with a Cause: The Jacobites & The Global Imagination is the title of the inaugural exhibition at the new Library at the University of Aberdeen.
The exhibition displays treasures from the University’s rare book, archive and museum collections to explore and challenge traditional assumptions about the Jacobites. As co-curator of the exhibition, Siobhán Convery offers an engaging and enlightening guided tour of the fascinating items on display including a carved ostrich egg and a letter signed by Charles Edward Stuart himself.
