Candelit vigil for bereaved families

A candlelit vigil to remember children of any age who have died will be held in St Machar's Cathedral, Old Aberdeen on Sunday 11 December at 7.30pm. This service, led by Rev Dr Easter Smart, Chaplain to the University, is one of many which will be held for grieving parents around the world. However, anyone who may be grieving is welcome to come.
The gathering will offer time for quiet contemplation, music, readings, the lighting of candles and the reading out of names of those to be honoured and remembered.
It is open to anyone who has lost a child or who wishes to support bereaved families.
