This March, exercise your power of thought, as we celebrate National Science and Engineering Week and this year's theme of Communication.

National Science and Engineering Week will soon be here.  We have dozens of events happening between the 12th and 19th March including four fabulous cafe science sessions, a new science dating evening, a great Skeptics in the Pub with award winning science comedian Helen Keen and the second instalment of our fast-paced panel event - Bring Your Own Brain.

New events for this year include Satellites in Space - a fast paced panel event on Thursday 17 March with leading figures from Scotland's satellite and communications industries and Our Tomorrow - a cutting edge programme of presentation from leading researchers followed by discussion - organised in conjunction with TEDx by the Aberdeen University Student Association.

The popular Discovery Day returns to Satrosphere on Saturday 19th March - a chance to meet scientists and organisations across a whole range of different areas.  New activities for this year include Food Lab - a great new hands on activity from the Rowett Institute, Who Wants to Be a Scientist - a lively show from the Satrosphere show team, Battlefield Communications - a new collaboration with the Gordon Highlanders Museum and Energy Antics - a fun interactive workshop from BP.
