Since its inauguration in 1960, the Geddes-Harrower lecture series has become a leading scholarly event exploring Greek art and archaeology and related areas of Hellenic significance. The lectures are given annually to the University community and the general public at the University of Aberdeen.

The University warmly invites you to attend the Geddes-Harrower lecture series for 2010 where Professor Charlotte Roueché, the 2010 Geddes-Harrower Chair, will explore the substantial and uniquely valuable archive of William Calder’s research materials at the University of Aberdeen in her series of lectures entitled ‘From Aberdeen to Ankara: tracing scholarly adventures’.

Lectures are held on 19th, 21st, 26th & 28th October and 2nd & 4th November. All lectures start at 6.30pm in the King’s College Conference Centre, University of Aberdeen

The final lecture on the 4th November will be followed by a reception in the James MacKay Hall.
