Join us for the 10th Festival Celebrations.
Word – University of Aberdeen Writers Festival will take place from 14 - 16 May at King’s College campus, and this year’s special 10th Birthday programme is practically bursting at the seams with readings, debate, film, exhibitions, poetry, and science events for all ages.
Highlights include events with Pauline McLynn, Benedict Allen, Louise Welsh, David Peace, Karen Dunbar, Simon King, William McIlvanney, Martin Bell and the première of Scottish Opera’s new 5:15 series.
Word also has a fantastic Schools' and Children's Festival sponsored by Marathon Oil. It has a packed line-up brimming with fun and imagination.
